Sunday, April 13, 2008Why The Reds Won't WinYes, I know...it's very early in the season. No one really knows what is going to happen. But here is why the Reds won't win this season: Lefties. All the other team has to do is throw out a lefty to pitch...and the Reds hitters look like 10 year olds facing Walter Johnson. What? Too old of a reference? OK. Um....OK. They look like 10 year olds facing Randy Johnson. But when Randy Johnson was good. Hmm...I'm not very good at this. But you get the point...right? 2 of the last 3 games the Reds have faced an average to below average left handed pitcher. And he has totally shut them down. It's embarrasing. Also, Ryan Freel and Norris Hopper are terrible. They both make pitchers look like Roger Clemens...efore he got caught cheating. Dang! One of these days I'll think of a good one.
