Random Thoughts - 5.23.07

Howdy,

I haven't posted in a while. I feel bad. So here is a collection of random thoughts.

  • With Ken Griffey Jr. playing like he did in Seattle, it makes you wonder what could have been had he been more healthy. ESPN would be tracking every single one of his at bats, the country would be excited at seeing history being made, and Hank Aaron wouldn't seem like such a grouch.


  • I am looking forward to watching the Bengals on Monday Night Football on opening day. I am also hoping the announcers don't talk about arrests all game long. I fear I will be disapointed


  • TV Related Thoughts:

    • House is the best show on television right now. I look forward to that show more than any of the other shows I watch. I am sad the season is ending next week.

    • CSI ended this season on a cliffhanger. I hate that.

    • DVR/Tivo is AWESOME. I don't know how I lived without it.

    • Scrubs still makes me laugh on a regular basis

  • I don't get the big fuss about the Kentucky Derby.


  • The NFL is looking into speeding up the NFL Draft. This is a WONDERFUL idea. I say give 10 minutes for the first two rounds, and 5 minutes for every round after that.


  • The new John Mayer album, "Continuum" is outstanding.


  • Scarlet Johannson always makes my Top 7 list, but she will always rank FAR below this girl.
