NFL Week 1 Thoughts
This is my 100th post!! Here's hoping to many more!
I will be giving my weekly thoughts on what I saw around the NFL.
- The Patriots look really good. Really good. They've got some tough games coming up with San Diego, Indy and Cincy. I can see them going 14-2 this season.
- Peyton Manning is really really good and a lot of fun to watch. He could carry this team to another Super Bowl
- The NFC sucks and almost isn't worth talking about. It's fun to make fun of the Bears though. So here goes. Rex Grossman is still awful. heh heh. I'm so clever!
- The Raven's defense is spectacular, but will not be as good as it could be if Ray Lewis is seriously injured. That dude is tough. He played last night with a torn triceps muscle. Of course, he killed someone once too, so I guess he isn't TOO cool.
- After the game on Sunday, Tom Brady walked across the East River in New York to New Jersey and healed a blind man. I'm serious. ESPN said so.
- Thoughts and prayers go out to Kevin Everett, who was likely paralyzed in Sunday's game.
- Brett Farve still doesn't look very good. At this point I am confident he is playing to break Marino's records.
- The Browns are TERRIBLE. I will surprised if they win 2 games this year. SOO BAD. They remind me of the late 90's Bengals. Here comes Brady Quinn...and he is going to get hurt.
- Adrian Peterson will be Offensive Rookie of the Year
That should pretty much do it for this week. Come back next Tuesday for more riveting and ground breaking NFL analysis.
