Thursday, December 27, 2007Bodies: The ExhibitionHey everyone...hope you had a great Christmas! It sure was nice being on break. Today, Mikah and I went to Bodies: The Exhibition up in Columbus. It was really cool. We were going to take some pictures, but they wouldn't let us. It is an exhibition that shows the human body and its various processes. For example, there is a room dedicated to the digestive system, another to the circulatory system, etc... The weird thing is that they use real human bodies. Obviously they are dead...but they are real. They call them "specimen"...which makes it a little less creepy. When you first look at the "specimen"...it's kind of weird because you know they were once real people. But after a while, you don't really think about it. It's a really neat place...and I learned a lot just by being there. Osmosis. Check and see if it is coming to a place near you! Subscribe to the DIA Feed
