Top 7 - 8.3.07
The weekly DIA Top 7 ListSeven Things I Like Right Now- Scarlett - Mikah wants to name our future daughter "Scarlett" because she loves Gone With the Wind. I think the name is too 1930ish. Plus it would might be creepy due to my infatuation with Ms. Johansson. Also, it might make me think about that stupid movie, and that stupid character. I certainly wouldn't want to get mad everytime I heard my daughter's name. This is why I want to name my future daughter "Adam".
- NFL Football - It's coming fast...FAST.
- The Discovery Channel - What a fantastic channel. They bring us Man vs. Wild, Build It Bigger, Survivorman, Dirty Jobs and others that I can't remember. Best channel on TV. Better than ESPN.
- Sportscenter - [start sarcasm] Only because of their awesome "Who's Now" segment. What creativity!! What cleverness!!! It's awesome!!!! asedfasudfbasfub1!!!!!!!! [end sarcasm]
- Jabberwocky - Lewis Carrol's famous non-sensical poem. I love it. Now THAT is creativity...and maybe opium...but definitely creativity!
- Home Ownership - Home Ownership rules because you get to have the satisfaction of owning private property. Or at least owning a small percentage of the private property, assuming you have a mortgage. But wait...there's more!! You also get the satisfaction of snaking giant clumps of hair and other grossness out of bathtub pipes. And you get to attempt (and fail) to fix broken air conditioners. And you get to fix broken doors that inexplicably stop closing all the way. And you get to pay for gas and electric costs. There might be more aspects to home ownership, but I think this pretty much summarizes it.
- GPS Devices - I don't have one...mostly because I don't go anywhere. But my friend and my dad have one. They are awesome. It knows exactly where you are at all times and tells you which way to go. The best part is when you don't follow the directions and the lady gets frustrated at you. "Turn around...Turn Around...nevermind...{recalculating}". heh heh...you don't own me Garmin Lady...I'll do what I want.
